The scientific core of the programme. Learners open up the formulations behind common products — active ingredients, standardisation, dosage forms, bioavailability, and the label literacy that separates informed advisors from script-readers.
Matching Products to Physiological Needs
Product knowledge turned into a structured matching method. Learners practise assessing the animal first — species, life stage, size, lifestyle, and diet — before any product enters the conversation, with practical scripts for in-store, e-commerce, and social channels.
Supporting Pets with Health Conditions
How health foods and supplements may appropriately assist pets living with diagnosed conditions — as an adjunct to veterinary care, never a replacement. Covers condition-support areas, safety interactions, contraindications, and a clear protocol for when to refer.

How to evaluate any product on its merits — manufacturing standards, ingredient traceability, and marketing claims versus evidence. Learners apply the NAHFA three-tier evidence framework and convert knowledge into trusted, ethical advisory practice.
